Civic Learning Showcase Remake Learning We’re bringing together young leaders, educators, and community serving organizations to showcase groundbreaking projects that are shaping the future of civic learning. Our remake civics project sought to expand and nurture relationships between schools and communities in order to create joyful, safe, supportive, and culturally sustaining learning.

Remake Learning Together with @the history co lab, remake learning brought together young leaders, educators, and community members at the civic learning showcase at senator john heinz history center. As students in pittsburgh’s civic learning ecosystem—powered by remake learning—are showcasing with their “map of sites of belonging,” weaving a web of institutions and individuals who know how to show up for and nurture teens is essential for the civic health of a community. Remake learning 3d󰞋󱟠 󰟝 “what if civics wasn’t just something you learn in a textbook? what if it was a feeling, something every young person grows up knowing they belong to?” this challenge was laid out at our civic learning showcase hosted with our partners at the history co: lab at heinz history center last week. Key points: the civic learning showcase brought together young leaders, educators, and community members to celebrate youth driven civic learning in pittsburgh. the event launched a youth led mapping initiative to identify where civic learning happens across the region.
