Choreolab 2024 Dance Program Spring, 2024 the duke university dance program presented its spring dance concert, choreolab 2024, featuring choreographic works from our faculty and students. faculty choreographers: kristin duncan, modern; jingqiu guan, film; iyun ashani harrison, ballet; ife michelle presswood, hip hop; ava lavonne vinesett, african; and nina wheeler, jazz. Choreographer and dancer: clio marden score:"river" shapes the choreography and musical composition, a collaboration between clio marden and artist and producer zwana.

Choreolab 2024 will be held from 5 9 february 2024, facilitated by chunky move’s current choreographer in residence, melanie lane. melanie shares her ongoing exploration of the mythic body, conjuring strategies for the material and immaterial, enchantment and magic. The 2024 axis choreo lab took place in person at axis’ home base in berkeley, ca from tuesday, may 28th – saturday, june 8th, 2024. four stellar choreographic fellows from across the disability and dance landscape joined us: larissa velez jackson, august grace, brian golden, and joelle santiago!. Since 2014, rimbun dahan has run the southeast asian choreolab, an annual 9 day facilitated international choreographic laboratory for emerging contemporary dance choreographers from the southeast asian region.
