This morning, i joined chookyblue and friends for a sewing group zoom. these online catch ups are always enjoyable and i even managed to get online at around 7:45am (it started at 6:00am) so that i could see some of the international ladies in attendance.

I still marvel that a pandemic was responsible for bringing together quilters from all over the world to sew together in a real time setting. this is the second zoom session that chookyblue organized that i attended. Sewing straight on to the fleece, quilt as you go style, saves a lot of time because you are only sewing the seams once and not having to go back and quilt them. I did this year and some of the girls on zoom thought it was a bit different but we had some decorations and the kids loved it have you enjoyed christmas at an odd location????. Yesterday, i had the pleasure of catching up with like minded gals. i so enjoy chooky's zoom zoom gatherings. the ladies are all so wonderful. as a bonus, i get to practice understanding the aussie accent! lol. i did a bit of knitting on a pull over i'm working on for pumpkin. the pattern is called le classic by espace tricot. it's free on ravelry.
