Sustainability Associated Students Of Csu Chico Chico State We are proud to have a student body exhibiting extraordinary sustainability leadership in and around our campus. our incredible faculty and staff are also just as committed to building a sustainable future grounded in science and practicality. Numerous student sustainability groups and internship opportunities are available on campus. in 2006, the associated students established a green fund – which has since supported over 100 diverse student sustainability initiatives.

The general plan promotes the development of strong working relationships between the city and other entities, such as butte county, csu chico, butte college, local businesses, non profit organizations, and other government agencies to accomplish chico’s sustainability goals. The csc will provide support and leadership for implementing sustainability across the campus via subcommittees covering focus areas targeted at meeting campus sustainability goals. Recognizing the impact of its ghg emissions on the northern portion of the sacramento valley, the city of chico did not wait for state directives to address ghg emissions and climate change. following are some of the early steps the city has undertaken on its own accord.
