Cepi Sustainability Plaform Ocean co. is a platform that empowers brands and individuals to do good. we are a global network of change makers working together to turn the tide on ocean bound plastic and improve livelihoods in coastal communities across the globe. Cepi, the european association representing the pulp and paper industry, unveils a dynamic 'live' sustainability platform which demonstrates, amongst other things, industry's sustainability achievements. Together they share expertise to develop tools and guidelines for an even more sustainable sector. the goal is to reach a 90% recycling rate for fibre based packaging by 2030. paper is recycled at a rate of 75.1% (2024 data) in europe, which is the highest recycling rate for paper in the world. Cepi is bolstering global manufacturing capacity in underserved regions and harnessing innovative technologies to improve the speed, scale and access of vaccine manufacturing in response to epidemic and pandemic threats.
