The choir grew over the years, bringing in children from union, middlesex, and somerset counties, representing more than twenty towns in the area. though there are many individual adult and children's choruses throughout new jersey, our youth choir is unique in that it is tuition free. Eighty five singers from thirteen communities came to the first practice in april and the chorus was born. in june, the 1976 bi centennial musical, "i love america", was presented at the salem united church of christ to a standing room only audience, and the celebration singers were on their way.
