With the help of sanved members, sohini is experimenting with specific elements that will make her program appropriate for older prostitutes who continue in the trade. And this, she could put to effect when she began working with a non profit organisation named kolkata sanved, where a dmt model was developed to heal and empower individuals from marginalised communities, including survivors of gender based violence and human trafficking, as well as at risk children and youth. Cultural and creative industries’ potential to make a significant contribution to the achievement of the sdgs is recognized by the 2030 agenda for sustainable development.
