Camp Whitman Experience We offer a variety of arts, athletics, and adventure activites perfect for any interest. join us for an unforgettable summer experience. This is a chance to learn what camp is all about in a great 2 day experience. pioneer campers can either come from 8:00 – 5:00 on the days of the program, or opt to stay overnight for one night.
Camp Whitman Experience Walt whitman is everything you want in a summer camp. the breadth of the walt whitman program and the depth of instructors’ expertise means that campers can walk in knowing nothing about gymnastics, or lacrosse, or paddle boarding, and get hooked on all of these things. On our 300 acres you’ll find a heated pool, an indoor sports pavillion, a ropes course, a gymnastics building, three art studios, a technology tent and our rustic modern cabins. we’ve spent 70 years perfecting an experience that inspires kids to try new things, challenge themselves, and have fun!. This fun, interactive experience helps campers with self confidence and enables them to experience god’s creation firsthand. come enjoy boating, swimming, art, nature, archery, campfires, smores and so much more!. Both of our children are campers at walt whitman. our experience and, most importantly, our kids' experience has been fantastic. the directors met with each child at our home before their first year of camp. since that time, we've really felt like the camp is invested in making each summer a growth experience.

Camp walt whitman provides a unique summer experience for children with an emphasis on friendship and community. our intentionally developed well rounded program combines required and elective activities for each child with extensive outdoor opportunities as well. Camp walt whitman gets its name and philosophy from the beloved american poet of the same name. community is what makes the experience at camp walt whitman special. every child gets to experience equality and inclusion. activities at camp walt whitman are all about balance. Our co ed overnight camp brings together staff and campers from around the world, creating a supportive community where you’ll gain real world skills in teamwork, communication, and leadership that last well beyond the summer. Camp walt whitman is a place where kids have fun and everyone is open to new ideas and experiences. developing friendships is easy. the focal point of the walt whitman experience is the cabin group, which forms a camper's summer family.
