Calibration Uw Mrrc
Calibration Types Uw Mrrc The uw medical radiation research center is accredited by uwadcl and a2la. offering world class calibration services for medical radiation. The overall goals of the university of wisconsin medical radiation research center (uwmrrc) are to 1) educate members of the medical physics community, 2) perform cutting edge research in radiation metrology and dosimetry, and 3) provide calibration services to the global community.
Calibration Types Uw Mrrc This week long workshop and meeting brought together metrologists from national laboratories, secondary calibration laboratories, and manufacturers, to exchange ideas on x ray multimeter (xmm) calibrations. The uwmrrc’s brachytherapy calibration protocol is the national standard for both high dose rate (hdr) and pulse dose rate (pdr) 192ir sources. the uwmrrc was instrumental in the development of the air kerma calibration and dosimetry standard for electronic brachytherapy sources (ebt). The uw medical radiation research center advances medical physics through multi disciplinary collaboration and pricing. The uw medical radiation research center offers numerous calibration types for radiation equipment for laboratories or medical use.
