Bushfire Preparedness Bushfire preparedness workshop for landholders on friday 8th sept from 5pm at yarrie lake hall. come along for a practical, hands on evening, learning how to prepare and defend your property against bushfire. children are welcome and older children are required to wear long pants and enclosed shoes. Through these workshops people become more aware of their local natural environment, the role of fire, and ways to better prepare for bushfires. topics include fire behaviour, bushfire survival plans, house and property preparation, and fire ecology.
