Boston Python Workshop Home Welcome to the saturday lecture section of the boston python workshop! for about 2 hours, we'll work through an introduction to the python programming language via both a lecture and hand on exercises. Welcome to the friday evening section of the boston python workshop! setup hours are from 6pm 9pm at hubspot. when you get to hubspot, please start your laptop and get on the wireless network. then work through the goals on this page in order; they should take between 2 and 3 hours.

These workshops are based on the curriculum developed for the community data science workshops in seattle. the work builds on the boston python workshop curriculum and adds material on programming web apis and doing basic data analysis:. Math in python looks a lot like math you type into a calculator. a python prompt makes a great calculator if you need to crunch some numbers and don't have a good calculator handy. In this tutorial, we'll create our poll app in the workshop mysite directory for simplicity. in the future, when you decide that the world needs to be able to use your poll app and plug it into their own projects, you can publish that directory separately.
