Bonex Nexus Bridging Plan Jordan Bonex (bridging the water energy food ecosystem nexus through nature based solutions) is a prima funded project working to operationalize the wefe nexus in the mediterranean through real world demonstration, stakeholder engagement, and policy integration. The project is developing an innovative and transdisciplinary wefe bridging framework (wefef) that supports the design of tailored nexus bridging plans (nbps) adapted to each territory’s technological, environmental and socio economic context. The bonex project focuses on advancing the water energy food environment (wefe) nexus framework by providing practical, context adapted tools and technological innovations to enhance governance and policy integration in the mediterranean region. Within bonex, wefef will be implemented and validated in 7 demonstration projects (dps) in the mediterranean region (italy, jordan, lebanon, portugal, morocco, spain and tunisia).
