Berkeley Academy Impact Berkeley Preparatory School Our 2024 2025 impact report, a publication that details the incredible ways the berkeley community is making a difference across our campus and beyond, has received a “silver” brilliance award. The berkeley academy is committed to ensuring that all of its students have the preparation, skills and knowledge necessary to succeed in college and beyond. this is accomplished through a six year program which starts the summer before a student’s seventh grade year and ends upon completion of high school. Schools are ranked on their performance on state required tests, graduation, and how well they prepare their students for high school. Summerville, sc – berkeley preparatory academy earned four different awards in recognition of their outstanding academic performance in the 2022 2023 school year at the charter institute at erskine’s academic showcase on friday, november 3, 2023. These ratings reflect how much students at this school improved from one year to the next compared to similar students at other schools in the state. it's a helpful way to measure how well a school is helping kids learn and advance. Berkeley educates the whole child by nurturing students’ intellectual, emotional, spiritual, and physical development so they may attain their highest potential. our philosophy encompasses a balanced curriculum of academics, arts, clubs and activities, competitive sports, and community service. We are currently reviewing two calendar options for the 2025–2026 school year. parents and staff will have the opportunity to view both options and share their preference by voting on their favorite.
