The national coalition of 100 black women inc. — oakland bay area chapter will honor madam c.j. walker’s legacy by recognizing black women in the community for their outstanding. Their work exemplifies our organizations vision as force for gender equity, our mission of adovocating leadership development and our values of living and modeling all critical to the sucess of women and girls of color. Each year, the nonprofit awards scholarships for black high school graduates and continuing college students. the group also awards "working women" scholarships for low to moderate income.
