Every august u brite organizes a data science hackathon, which brings together biomedical researchers, bioinformaticians, scientists, software developers, and computer engineers from around the world. the hackathon offers two days of hacking with nearly 80 participants. All events for the hackathon will be via zoom except for the optional hackathon social. Monday, 9 4 2023: announce teams, final technical readiness assessments, and completion. friday, 9 8 2023: pre hackathon workshop, final readiness checks saturday, 9 9 2023: hackathon day 1 sunday, 9 10 2023: hackathon day 2 friday, 9 15 2023: hackathon showcase friday, 9 22 2023: presentation of awards and closing ceremony.
