Author Journey April 1 2024 The Otaku Author So, let’s talk about the end of the winter 2024 anime season instead. there were some amazing shows and i’ve still got a few more to catch up on before i dive into the spring schedule. Author journey (march 11, 2024) the freedom that i have discovered as a result of not trying to review every single episode of anime that i watch has been revolutionary.
Author Journey March 11 2024 The Otaku Author So, i’ve brought back my weekly goals and my weekly author journey. it’s shorter than the previous ones and i’m sticking with the goals for the foreseeable future. So, i’ve ordered all my preorder books for 2024. happy days indeed. as if that wasn’t enough to get excited about the otaku author hit an impressive milestone. yesterday, it received its one millionth view! admittedly, just over half of those views came in 2023, but that’s still a moment worth celebrating. Last week was officially the end of the winter 2024 anime season… at least, as far as i was concerned. that means every show that i want to watch has now finished. let the binge begin! that’s right, it’s time to pick a show and throw myself into it head first. Once that’s done, i am going to get the drafts set up for all my author journey posts while i’m away so that i can just fill in the text when appropriate. they will be shorter in nature and less focused on the day to day grind.
Author Journey July 15 2024 The Otaku Author Last week was officially the end of the winter 2024 anime season… at least, as far as i was concerned. that means every show that i want to watch has now finished. let the binge begin! that’s right, it’s time to pick a show and throw myself into it head first. Once that’s done, i am going to get the drafts set up for all my author journey posts while i’m away so that i can just fill in the text when appropriate. they will be shorter in nature and less focused on the day to day grind. Last week, the latest volume of my dress up darling arrived at my front door. i also picked up volume thirteen of zom 100: bucket list of the dead from my library. so, you can expect to see reviews of those slipping into my release schedule very soon. Several years ago, i wrote a short story as part of a writing project which involved eleven other authors writing a short story with a similar prompt. we published them and for a brief moment, i was ranked higher than bram stoker’s dracula and mary shelley’s frankenstein in the free books list. I think my nanowrimo attempt may be over. the gap is just too large, but that doesn’t mean i’m going to stop writing. i’m just going to plod along at my own speed, doing my thing, writing this damn book!
