About Athletes Connected Some of the most impactful pieces we produce are in video format, which includes everything from our trailer that teases our program, to the individual stories of student athletes who battled their mental illness and used the support from the university of michigan to succeed. In this programme, video anecdotes of collegiate athletes' experience with mental health concerns are shown to athletes, and the viewers are informed of available resources and how to approach. Many student athletes experience mental health problems such as stress, depression and anxiety, just like their fellow students who are not varsity athletes . The presentation was designed to introduce the athletes connected program, and included information about student athlete mental health, support resources, and a screening of the videos followed by a question and answer session with the featured student athletes.
