Iago steals the lamp from aladdin and jafar becomes the genie's new master. jafar uses his first two wishes to become sultan and the world's most powerful sorcerer. jafar assumes control of the palace and banishes aladdin to a frozen wasteland. By the start of the film, jafar has spent years searching for the cave of wonders, home of the genie's lamp. he manages to obtain one half of a golden scarab beetle that—when joined—will lead its holder to the cave of wonders' entrance. I decided to do jafar because he was one of my favorite disney villains from my childhood, and he is such a fun character, with an amazing character design. his shapes were way harder than they initially appeared.
