Artemis Book Review
Artemis Book Review Life on artemis, the first and only city on the moon, is tough if you're not a rich tourist or an eccentric billionaire. so smuggling in the occasional harmless bit of contraband barely counts, right? not when you've got debts to pay and your job as a porter barely covers the rent. This post is an artemis andy weir review based on my experience with the audiobook. by the time i racked the weight for the last time, i knew two things for certain: this book is a brilliantly engineered thriller, and i have officially found a new favorite science fiction author.
Book Appointments Artemis Esthetics Wellness The martian is more based in hard science whereas artemis is just a fun adventure romp that happens to take place on the moon. honestly, it's more about economics than it is sci fi. I thoroughly enjoyed this action packed thriller set on the fictional lunar city of artemis. artemis has its own economy and like on earth there are rich and poor elements of society. Artemis is the second novel from andy weir, of the martian fame, but i have chosen to review this first, as it is weaker than his debut and thus feels more like a preparatory novel before the author becomes mature. His book project hail mary was a revelation for me in that it was such a smooth and entertaining ride with a structure that was masterfully orchestrated. it was science fiction like i had never read before with its realism, relatable characters, and heartfelt character interactions. Sci fi plus crime thriller; spunky protagonist (who, yes, admittedly sounds a lot like the protagonist of weir’s other novel, the martian). set in humanity’s first lunar city, the novel follows jazz bashara through a heist that could set her up for life—or set artemis on a path towards its doom!. A critical assessment of andy weir's science fiction novel, "artemis," forms the subject of this discussion. the evaluation typically encompasses elements such as plot construction, character development, scientific accuracy (or plausibility), and overall narrative effectiveness.
