Arpit Bhayani Peerlist Engineering focused deep tech podcast for passionate engineers. on this podcast, engineers and leaders come and talk about a system they built or an interesting problem they solved. I run a channel by the name asli engineering (translation: real engineering) on which i publish in depth engineering videos on topics ranging from system design, distributed systems, python internals, and anything that amuses me in tech. Spent some time this week learning the internals and wrote a quick write up about it. along with it, i shared how linkedin reduced their latencies by 60% by switching from json to protobuf. ⚡ system design is awesome and fun! and i am thrilled to announce that the admissions for my 15th cohort are now open. in the course, we will build systems exactly how they are built and scaled.

Remember this the next time you are designing a system. ⚡ in my system design cohort, we discuss and brainstorm tradeoffs in every single design decision we take. System design isn't tough when you have a solid foundation ⚡ there is a better way to understand building systems than mugging; imagine a bunch of passionate experienced engineers discussing. Took me 6 years of writing consistently on linkedin on no fluff topics to reach this milestone and get recognition. "we also realize how easy it is to prototype what we have learned" ⚡ system design is not theoretical, but rather an extremely practical subject.
