As a result, 62 individuals have been elected into the 2014 class of agu fellows after a 2 day meeting, held at agu headquarters in mid july. agu deeply appreciates all of the dedicated people who have provided support in making agu’s honors program a success.

There were four other agu fellows elected from colorado in 2014, all from boulder. they include clara deser and gerald meehl from the national center for atmospheric research, david parrish from the national oceanic and atmospheric administration and joseph borovsky from the space science institute. This year, 62 fellows were named for their scientific eminence, a major breakthrough, a major discovery, paradigm shifts and or sustained scientific impact. they will be recognized on dec. 17 at the annual agu conference in san francisco.
