People living with hiv (plhiv) are at increased risk of multimorbidity compared to the general population. the goal of this study is to evaluate the prevalence of non infectious comorbidities and geriatric syndromes in plhiv ≥ 50 years old. To examine the state of evidence on older adults with hiv in long term care, providing an overview of current knowledge on the health, social, and systemic factors influencing their care and identifying gaps that may guide future research and practice. The “aging with hiv cheat sheet” provides practical, research informed guidance for people living with hiv who are growing older — reflecting that many people with hiv now live well into middle age and beyond.
