Afrl Cymru Afrl cymru is a veteran run armed forces team which takes welsh and qualifying players of all ages, gender, and abilities to play matches in support of serving, veterans and the families of the armed forces here in wales. Karl beat of compertintion from gdsm tino williams and cpl andy daw to with the best man of the match selcted during the three games played during the rememberance day festival. the award is named after afrl and north wales buccaneers player, dave ward who suddenly passed away in october 2023.
