Advocacy awareness week is 14 to 18 october 2024. advocacy awareness week is an annual week long campaign across social media. this year we are celebrating the impact of advocacy, the difference that advocacy can make and how advocacy can create changes in people's lives. Advocacy awareness week is from 14 18 october 2024. each year it brings the advocacy sector together to highlight a different theme. this year is about the impact of advocacy. Throughout this week (monday 6 to friday 10 november), we’ll be helping to explain ‘ what is advocacy’ and why it’s important through content created by our colleagues and the people we support. It’s an annual campaign that brings the advocacy sector and our allies together to raise awareness and celebrate the power and impact of independent advocacy. advocates do so much to enable people to navigate the system and be listened to. yet we hear all the time from people, families and advocates that it’s not known about and understood enough.
