National Chemistry Week Is Coming Inchemistry In this work, we focused on the recent progress in functionalized pil based membranes for co 2 separation and concluded the preparation, separation properties, and separation mechanism of pure pil membranes, pil copolymer membranes, pil il composite membranes, and pil based mmms for co 2 separation. Pil–il membranes made with the il based cross linkers exhibited higher co 2 permeability and co 2 ch 4 selectivity compared to the membranes made with a conventional, nonionic cross linker, divinylbenzene (dvb).
