Our mission at the access project is to support students from disadvantaged backgrounds to access top universities, through a combination of tuition and in school mentoring. In effect, as at 31 august 2024, the access project had total funds of £727,267, a decrease of £293,137, which reflected the deficit for the year. £721,887 was held as unrestricted reserves and a further £5,380 was restricted to expenditure on student prizes and programme delivery hardware.
