Ccwa’s academic worldquest competition academic worldquest is a national competition in which teams of high school students test their knowledge about international affairs, u.s. foreign policy, and current events. Ccwa is looking for internationally minded host families for fulbright scholars from brazil on february 10 12, 2023. ccwa will be partnering with ohio university to host 40 brazilian fulbright english language instructors in cleveland for the weekend. all fulbright scholars speak english. Academic worldquest™ is a fun, friendly, and powerful team based knowledge competition designed for high school students keen to learn about international affairs. this flagship program involves both our cwac locally sponsored awq contest as well as the awq championship in the nation's capital. Avon high school took first place, competing with 8 other teams over ten rounds of questions on world affairs and foreign policy. the team will now move on to represent cleveland in the national competition in washington d.c. in april!".
