Young Trustees Movement The young trustees movement brings together current and aspiring young trustees, employers, and allies to increase the representation of trustees aged 30 and under on charity boards, enhancing the quality of their experience. The young trustee movement is coordinated and led by mita desai, a former chair of the british youth council (when she was aged 20), and youthvoice champion and advocate.
Benefits Young Trustees Movement The young trustees movement launched in 2019 and grew from a research project funded by the blagrave trust and conducted by the social change agency and another organisation called young charity trustees, which closed that year. The social change agency are delighted to be working on an initiative to grow the numbers of young trustees in england and wales. this initiative is funded by the blagrave trust, esmee fairbairn foundation, co op foundation, zing and the paul hamlyn foundation.
