Kids Belong Kids belong began in 2013 as an effort to help our community rally around foster care. there are hundreds of kids in foster care in west michigan, and there are just never quite enough homes to care for them all. The i belong project™ uplifts the stories and voices of kids in foster care who are legally free for adoption. the professional, trauma informed photo and video shoots are one part of an entire day designed for youth to have fun, play and just be kids.

America’s kids belong is a 501 (c)3 organization that mobilizes government, faith based, business and creative communities around the goal of permanency and belonging for foster children. America’s kids belong helps kids in foster care find belonging, and supports foster families as they do the hard work of standing in the gap for vulnerable children in our communities.
