The lcb training programme was successfully launched in cambodia in december 2024 and in india in january 2025, with training of trainers delivered at local institutions through interactive discussions, case studies, and hands on exercises. The low carbon training program, which is the first of its kind in canada, will provide people working in architecture, engineering, construction and commercial real estate with a common language and understanding of low carbon strategies and solutions. This course is designed for those wishing to take the steps to become low carbon consultants (lccs) and also those who want to gain certification as low carbon energy assessors (lceas) to be able to produce display energy certificates (decs). This program is aimed at upskilling building professionals, including architects, engineers, contractors, and owners and operators, to accelerate the adoption of low carbon practices, reduce emissions, and contribute to canada’s climate action plan and just transition.
