Human Car Interaction Home Human car interaction is an active area of research at arizona state university which aims at understanding this interaction and making it simpler and safer for drivers. integration of cars with computers and smartphones bring many conveniences but may lead to many security issues. Drivers, passengers, and pedestrians exhibit complex cognitive and emotional responses to autonomous vehicles, which are shaped by factors including safety perceptions, system transparency, and experience with automation.

With the advancement in technology, the car has become a place for media consumption, a communications center and an interconnected workplace. the number of features in a car has also increased. as a result, the user interaction inside the car has become overcrowded and more complex. This review covers recent progress in human vehicle interaction (hvi) and ai collaboration for vehicle control. first, we start by looking at how hvi has evolved, pointing out key developments and identifying persistent problems. The aim of this special issue is to collect high quality original contributions that mirror the cutting edge state of research on human–vehicle interactions across application domains.
Human Car Interaction Home This review covers recent progress in human vehicle interaction (hvi) and ai collaboration for vehicle control. first, we start by looking at how hvi has evolved, pointing out key developments and identifying persistent problems. The aim of this special issue is to collect high quality original contributions that mirror the cutting edge state of research on human–vehicle interactions across application domains. It starts with a rider ordering a car, identifying the correct vehicle around the pick up site and safely negotiating the pick up procedure. once inside the vehicle, the riders are used to relying on interactions with human drivers to customize their service experience. The technologies of human–machine interactions usually contain two parts, the human to vehicle and vehicle to human. this paper analyzes the potential innovation of human–machine systems from the perspective of human sensing, including visual, auditory, tactile, and olfactory. Roads are social spaces where human road users engage in communication, cooperation, and competition. with the introduction of automated vehicles (avs) into this space, it becomes crucial to understand human av social interactions. This book focuses on the design of the in car human–machine interface (hmi) and the design relevant psychology. it combines a design perspective with an applied theoretical perspective.
