Extra Lsr Training For My First Race Le Stylo Rouge It was a day full of surprises! from getting classes cancelled to having roller coaster conversation with a political science students about gender, identity and everything under the sun, my first day couldn’t get better!. I had set up my alarm for 8 but probably the first day anxiety woke me way before i was supposed to wake up. it was a thursday morning and i had to attend only two lectures. 3 years later, i still remember my first day at lsr after putting all my strength into scoring good in boards to knowing that we have to give cuet, it was all a roller coaster ride. My first day at lsr felt like stepping into a world i had only imagined. the moment i entered the campus, i was greeted by bright smiles and warm voices that immediately made me feel at home.

My first day at lsr felt like stepping into a world i had only imagined. the moment i entered the campus, i was greeted by bright smiles and warm voices that immediately made me feel at home. The 17 year old me had a bunch of questions, ranging from a simple “will i be happy?” to a more nuanced “what if my transition isn’t for the better, but for the worse?” it has been 3 years since then and i would finally like to think i have some answers about me and my alma mater: lsr. I began school before covid hit, and after covid hit, my new friends at the time dropped out or transferred schools. for the past few years, i made the mistake of comparing myself to other girls i see on campus in tightly knit friend groups. Open house attendees can tour campuses, start the enrollment process and learn more about the resources that help individuals get from where they are to where they want to be. Now that the semester has ended, i can reflect all the semester activities to depict how my writing skills and critical thinking skills have drastically improved. this paper presents a reflection paper of how this semester’s assignments have shaped me as a writer, critical thinker and scholar.
