As promised, this is a special update concerning the big cold front coming our way sunday night and monday. there are no significant changes from my morning forecast. The 7:00 update from the storm prediction center maintains a marginal risk for severe storms across the plateau. that risk carries a very low end threat for a tornado, but the greater risk is for a damaging straight line wind gust. winds should be increasing as we go through the rest of the evening. some gusts could top 30 mph.
