Through consistent, weekly relationships, mentors provide academic encouragement, emotional support, and help build confidence in children who are facing challenges that may impact their success in school. During national mentoring month, we're celebrating the commitment and creativity of our kids hope usa mentors. check out the latest 25th anniversary story of mr. gary a khusa. Mentors go through a background check, and receive video based training to equip them to be a mentor. mentors also receive on going encouragement and are able to ask questions of the cornerstone volunteer who is the kids hope usa director.
