During 2022, grantees led co creation efforts with community members to plan and implement solutions to prevent and end vaw g at the local level with the aim of sustaining gains beyond the project cycle, particularly in the context of a rising backlash against women’s rights. The violence against women act requires a report to congress every even numbered fiscal year, providing information about the incidence of stalking and domestic violence, and evaluating the effectiveness of anti stalking efforts and legislation.
