2019 Homecoming Kick Off Party Milton Hershey School Alumni Are you ready to unleash the spirit? tomorrow starts one of the most exciting times of the year, homecoming! the fun kicks off friday, october 4 and runs through saturday, october 12. with your help, homecoming 2019 is going to be bigger and better than ever. Homecoming 2019 might not have gone exactly to expectations, but it was still one to remember for the students of south alabama. though most of the week brought rain, wind, and undesirable conditions, here is a recap of the highlights of the week. Lamar university kicked off its homecoming activities with an event in the setzer student center, sept. 23. announcers introduced the nominees for homecoming court, gave a preview of the events scheduled during the week, and gave away free t shirts and food. Homecoming week will kick off with the viewing of the lion king (2019) for movie knight, at addition financial arena at 8 p.m. monday. tickets are not required for this event.
