I was impressed with the fabric -- for it not being a quilt shop -- and hoping the fabric I purchased washes well and will make for good quilting fabric. They had several prints that I have seen online from either fabric.com or elsewhere -- including some Wizard of Oz themed fabric. Another key aspect involves, sew-ology Thread - The Quilting Forum - Missouri Star's Quilt Community.

I was recently at Hobby Lobby and saw that Coats and Clarks thread is on clearance and there is a new rack for Sewology Thread. Has anyone used this brand? How would you rate the quality?

Sew-ology thread is not suitable for hand quilting, very thick, hard to thread, draggy, twists very badly. Pellon FF77 stabilizer - The Quilting Forum .... On a side note, the other day I found that Hobby Lobby has 40% coupons online that you can print out and use in the store, once a day.

Another key aspect involves, i used it on 971F which is much denser than 987F, but I have not used it yet. Hobby Lobby PreCuts - The Quilting Forum - Missouri Star's Quilt Community. Re: Hobby Lobby PreCuts Fabric Palette is the same brand you get at Walmart here in Canada, not sure about in the US though. I've also seen quilt shops selling FQ's by the same company but would not pay more than Walmart is charging.

I'm using the "Paloma" line for my Farmer's Wife/Granddaughter quilt, and the fabric is actually nice. I like to give Hobby Lobby my business because of their Christian principles. I've bought quite a bit of fabric at HL over the past few years. It's not name brand, but you can find some nice fabrics if you look. It's important to note that, i usually hold the cloth up to the light & check the feel of it.

LQS quilt fabric vs Joann/hobby lobby fabric - Jenny Doan. Fusible fleece instead of batting? Insul-Bright is great for for hot pads, oven mits, etc. This perspective suggests that, i use the warm-n-white (or warm-n-natural) for placemats, table runners, etc. Another key aspect involves, i double layer for hot pads and table runners, I single layer for placemats I buy mine at my local fabric store (JoAnns, Hobby-Lobby, etc) hope that helps K.

Re: Kona Cotton I have been happy with the few quilting fabrics purchased at Hobby Lobby -- all have been prints (Wizard of Oz and other novelty). Someone previously posted on this forum in past year or so that they thought different Kona fabric was sold at chain vs.
