Should I watch sub or dub? I prefer dubs because then I don't have to constantly read the subtitles. In relation to this, others prefer sub, its down to personal preference. I'd say find a show you like, and watch an episode in both dub and sub, and see how you feel about it.

This perspective suggests that, why exactly are there three English dubs? : r/dragonball - Reddit. That's why there's the "Ocean" dub and the Funimation dub (even though they're both Funimation dubs, technically). And Kai is a cut and remastered version of the Z anime, and Funimation set out to produce a dub script far more accurate to the original source material than their Z venture was (the Z dub being notorious for how inaccurate it is ... Why do you prefer dubs over subs? I personally prefer dubs because I usually watch anime when I am eating so I cannot pay attention to subs while eating.

However, many people seem to prefer subs over dubs because they prefer to keep the originality of it intact and prefer the original voice characters. Furthermore, i respect that, but those are not important to me. Which is your reason?
